Usually we recommend painting on cotton fabric for beginners so as to get a hang of the technique. This is a relatively inexpensive and easy way of giving a new look to any fabric. In this course, you will be taught basic and advanced fabric painting techniques. Information on the cloth, paints, brushes, palette, diluting medium and other materials will be given. You will also be taught how to prepare the fabric for painting, how to choose designs, color identification, color mixing and various techniques of painting like brush filling, two shade and three shade blending technique, wet on wet technique, stenciling, spray technique, block printing technique, liner technique to name a few.
